Sg Congkak or  Sungai Congkak has been KLlites hang out location for years. This is one of the several good place to enjoy nature that is not too far from urban areas of Kuala Lumpur. Sungai Congkak has been gazetted as a forest reserve for Selangor area, so the natural environment at this place is still quite protected. The water from Sg Congkak is very chilling and cold while refreshing.

Sungai Congkak is also a famous and popular weekend destination for people around Klang Valley. So expect it to be packed during weekends. However weekdays are very peaceful. Visitors can enjoy the cold morning fogs while the sunlight are beaming through it

Besides being a good chillax location, this place is also a famed camping site and resort. There is a resort here and camping sites available for rent. Also, do be sure that you are visiting the right resort located inside the Forest reserve to enjoy the nature there. The water of the river and waterfall is cold and refreshing which is suitable for picnic.

For nature lovers, there are hiking trails  as this place is actually linkable to Gunung Nuang , Ampang or even to Janda Baik at Genting Highlands. A proper hiking guide is highly recommended as it may be easy to get lost in the dense tropical jungle

This is a good place to do nature related activities such as camping. There are ready campsite at this place with a minimal fees.

Getting there

Located inside Hulu langat, the best way to reach this place would be by cars. To get there you drive towards Kajang from Cheras highway where you can see a sign board to turn left into Hulu Langat at Batu 9 . Drive straight. It should be around 45 minutes drive away from that point.
