Pusat Ikan Hiasan Port Dickson is located very near to Teluk Kemang Beach. This is a great place for family to visit when you are holidaying at Port Dickson.   Best of all this place is FREE to enter. This place is actually a corals and marine life research center funded by the government.  There are a lot of marine lifes including turtles, various corals , marine fishes and many more. All the livestock here are saltwater based.

Turtles

There are turtles ranging from eggs , babies to full grown matured turtles located at the exterior part of the building.  There are display various tanks with diff stages of a turtle’s life starting from egg hatchery , baby turtle to adult turtles.   Large turtles are placed in large water tanks which is located at the entrance of Pusat Hiasan Ikan Teluk Kemang.

Sharks

Upon entering the venue, visitor are able to see shark tank and various marine fish such as Clown fish, blue tangs , Chromis and many more. A lot of these species are actually Port Dickson native species while there are also imported ones.

Corals

Majority of the corals here are soft corals which includes leathers, mushrooms to soft polyp based corals. Visitors are also able to see the interaction between anemone and clown fishes on specific tanks. There are also carnivorousness poisonous fish such as lion fish and rock fish.

There are tanks where Corals are grown through aquaculture technique.

Entrance is free,  while you will have to register at the guardhouse before entering.

Operating hours. This place is opened from 10 am 5pm on Saturday , 10am to 4pm on Sunday. While 9am to 12pm and 2.30 to 4pm on Friday. 9am to 4pm on Monday-Thursday.

This place can be quite pack during public holidays and weekend.
